New tattoo design.help?
So, I’m getting a tattoo very soon and I still can’t decide what I want. I know that I want it on the inside of my left ankle…and I think I want it to be a symbol of some kind. I already have one Kanji symbol on my right hip – it means “overcome.” If I get another symbol, I want it to mean something similar like “strength” but that’s the only word that I can think of that’s related.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I could get? Also, if you have any other good ideas for ankle tattoos…feel free to contribute!

Wow, so…none of you guys are actually understanding my question. That is probably my fault. Let me try again.
What are some words that are along the same lines of strength and overcome? That’s what I’m looking for my tattoo to be. I want a symbol…but I can’t think of a word similar to those.
I am NOT getting a tattoo for the sake of getting one, so those of you who are telling me to wait can bite me. I already have tattoos and 9 piercings…so I already know what I’m getting myself into…but thanks for looking out (I just wish that people would just come on here and answer the question that is being asked instead of trying to give “good advice”).

You could get a powerful animal to represent strength. That would require a really simple design though if you were to get it on your ankle, which I don’t think looks good. Animal tattoos look amazing when they’re at least medium sized.
With the ankle location, you’re limited to words and very basic symbols and designs.

why would you be getting one “very soon” if you dont know what you want?!
think about something personal or meaningful. keep thinking if thats what u really want and give it a few months, or even years. if you still want it down the road, then go for it. dont get a tattoo just for the sake of getting a tattoo, because its cute or trendy.

dont get one just cuz you want one. seriously take time to think about and once you have made a decision and wait a while and than if you still want it in a few months go get it. you shouldnt have to ask others what you should get because it will be on YOUR body for the rest of your life.
