I want to get a Tattoo of a hummingbird x-ray, with the hummingbird’s wings spread out like it’s flying. I don’t just want a picture of a skeleton, I want to see it’s heart and everything. It’s for someone close to me, whenever I was around him or hugged him, his heart would be just about to burst out of his chest hahah.
I think it’s a new/creative idea. The only problem is that I cant find a picture of it. And I don’t want it to get messed up because I have no reference. :/

I found this pic for you on this bird website, and it’s the best that you’re going to get. But, if you brought this picture to a tattoo artist who is professional and willing to help you realize your vision, they could easily draw up something with an hummingbird inflight and show the internals as they are on this link that I gave you. The only modifications they would have to make would be to enlarge the heart and lungs. The heart more so, because hummingbirds have large hearts. They will make the organs life like and all that. Your idea sounds really awesome and I wish that I could see the result.

i cant find one either :/ try going in to where you want to get it done and describe it in all this detail to them, and see what they can draw up for you, then go from there. if you like what they come up with, go for it. or if not, go somewhere else and see what they can draw for you ! good luck (:

This one’s a skeleton from the side, I don’t think it has a wing though.
You could always just have your artist draw in the heart and whatever else you want.. I don’t think anybody will be inspecting it THAT closely, or even if they do I doubt many people have the inside of a hummingbird memorized
Or, you could go to the library, and look through a book about hummingbirds, I’m sure they have books about the biology [or whatever, I can't think of the word. all the insides and organs 
] of birds. Or you could even go to a zoo, or aviary or someplace that has birds, and ask somebody who works there. Are there any classes about birds at a college near you? Maybe you could find somebody there that studies hummingbirds.
I know how frusterating it is to have a specific picture in mind, but then not be able to find it :-[ They say the internet has everything, but sometimes not lol.
